My name is Duchnah Richard, and I am the first in my family to pursue higher education. Education for my family is more than a goal, it’s a personal achievement and a symbol of progress.
From an early age, I’ve been a visionary with big dreams. In middle school, I was voted “Most Likely to Become President,” which sparked a deep desire to lead and inspire others. While that dream has evolved, my commitment to creating meaningful change has only grown stronger.
Today, my greatest aspiration is to transform the education system. I believe that education has the power to uplift individuals and communities, and I am passionate about ensuring every student has access to high-quality learning in a safe and supportive environment. My vision is to build an education system that nurtures both academic success and personal growth.
To reach this goal, I am pursuing a career in law with the goal of becoming a Judge Advocate General (JAG) officer in the United States Air Force, specializing in national security law. This pathway allows me to serve with integrity, gain global legal experience, and advocate for justice on a broader scale. Ultimately, I hope to use my legal and leadership background to influence education policy.
